TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO / WAWV) – After 50 years of service for the Wabash Valley, Bill Tennis, CEO and President of Wabash Valley Goodwill Industries, is retiring.
Tennis began working for Goodwill in a variety of positions in 1971 before becoming president in 1982.
As he ponders his career, Tennis says that his role has contributed to more employment in the Wabash Valley, along with support services and expanded fundraisers.
He tells us that after he retires, he still wants to be busy in a couple of weeks.
“I’m renovating a small RV and planning to travel around the United States, often visiting places I’ve been. I’ve always loved running around and now that I have more time I can spend a lot more time, ”said Tennis.
